Baltic Workboats completed project for designing and building 3 patrol ships for German Customs authority
Baltic Workboats shipyard says the project for designing and building 3 patrol ships for the German Customs authority has been completed. It began in Oct 2016, when the contract for the new 24-meter was signed in Hamburg. According to the shipyard, the final vessel was delivered in Aug 2019.
“The Patrol 24 WP became a new model in our wave-piercing series, with outstanding performance capabilities in any weather. The ships will be operating in the most demanding conditions in the Baltic and North Sea. They comply with Lloyds Register rules and have the highest quality standard what could be provided for workboats of that kind. Despite the powerful machinery our advanced design and interior assembly enable to provide probably the best low vibration and low noise solution on the market”, says the statement.
Baltic Workboats AS is a growing shipyard with modern facilities and a highly skilled workforce of more than 150 people.
