Yenisei River Shipping Company has completed deliveries of cargo to Taimyr. According to the company, it delivered 6,900 t of coal, 166 t of oil products as well as containers with cargo for private individuals.
Dudinka-Dikson route was serviced by M/V Mechanic Maklakov, M/V Feodor Nayanov, tanker Victor Astafyev, barge М-2 and floating crane Plavkran-416.
Under the municipal contract, the shipping company’s fleet carried about 15,000 t of coal to the settlements of the district.
Yenisei River Shipping Company was established as a state enterprise in 1931, incorporated in 1994. YRSC is the main carrier of cargo along the water routes of the Yenisei Basin. The company’s fleet numbers some 650 vessels with total capacity of about 680,000 t. The company has shipbuilding and ship repair assets and a number of other business units. Major customer and the controlling shareholder of the company is Norilsk Nickel OJSC.
